To help us maintain our high quality standards, we do not send our digitizing or graphics work to outside companies. All work is done by family members using industry standard software.
You Get What You Pay For
In services and products, most commonly “you get what you pay for”. Many digitizing companies advertise extremely fast turnaround times and very low prices. What they often don’t mention is that their designs are frequently created using automated digitizing software with minimal refinement. In many cases, the person preparing the design is not an experienced master digitizer and may not optimize the embroidery file for the specific material being embroidered. Without proper optimization, even a design that looks good on a computer screen may not produce the best possible results when stitched.
If your design is a simple left or right chest logo with minimal detail and will be embroidered on a smooth, stable fabric, an automatically digitized file may produce acceptable results. However, if your design is more detailed or will be stitched on challenging fabrics, textured materials, or difficult garment types, the quality and consistency of the finished embroidery will depend much more on the skill of an experienced digitizer and proper optimization for the specific application.
Many low-cost digitizing services do not perform a test stitch-out before delivering your design. Instead, they provide the embroidery file for you to test on your own equipment. If the design does not stitch as expected, revisions are often made only after you report the issues and provide photos of the embroidered results. While this process can eventually produce a satisfactory design, it may require multiple rounds of revisions, resulting in additional time and frustration.
Digitizing Services – In House Only
As we custom digitize your design, we are doing it in house only. We use professional digitizing software as a tool—not a substitute for experience. Every embroidery design is manually digitized and optimized by hand to ensure clean stitching, proper sequencing, and the best possible results for your specific fabric and application. We don’t rely on one-click automatic digitizing to create your embroidery files.
Every design we create is test stitched in-house to verify that it sews cleanly and meets our quality standards before it is delivered. We evaluate stitch quality, sequencing, registration, and overall appearance to ensure the best possible results. When appropriate, other members of our family team also review and critique the stitch-outs, providing an additional level of quality control to help refine the finished design. Artwork Services
We generally recommend providing your finished artwork whenever possible, as it helps streamline the digitizing process. However, if your design needs a few finishing touches, we’re happy to assist in-house to prepare it for the best possible embroidery results. We can work with both raster and vector artwork and, in many cases, can even create embroidery designs from photographs. For more information, see our Artwork Requirements.

You may have noticed a particular point we keep making in this post. We want to make it clear to our customers that we maintain control of your artwork and embroidery designs, without passing them off to third-parties.
